Bidding Farewell

Every person in this world is unique. Each of us has a talent which we often fail to recognize. Every opportunity that comes our way, knowingly or unknowingly persuades us to take a chance - a chance with our interests, our talents and capabilities!  One one hand, there are people who are passionate but often let go of their dreams with the excuse that they have not found the right direction. On the other hand, there are people who turn their obstacles into golden pathways and find a solution to all the problems, no matter what.Often, they are blessed with a messiah to light our way and give their dreams the right direction.

Something similar happened in my life too.  School provided me with all opportunities I needed; be it acting, singing, writing, debating or academics. And I had excelled in all. In college, I was a mess! I didn’t know where to go, what to do, how to get about. I tried to do anything and everything that came my way and ended up getting nowhere. However, I always felt there would be a place, which would feel right. or me, that place was Study India. I read about an opening for Creative Writers at Study India, and quickly applied for it without a second thought. What followed was an experience that transformed me completely! I discovered a new love for writing. I felt this urge to learn; and I was able to do so with each article I wrote. I felt ecstatic when I read my readers’ comments. Each review, correction and  edition made me a better writer. This platform gave me a lot more than I expected of my first  writing internship.  I never thought that I could confidently voice my thoughts and opinions to the world. SI introduced my work to a number of readers; who not only read but also approved and appreciated my work, in turn boosting to my morale!

But as they say, nothing lasts forever! As I write this article, with a tinge of nostalgia and  a lot of gratitude, I feel overcome with memories of the past nine months at Study India. I’d like to thank the whole team for their continuous support. Dhananjay Goel, thank you for allowing me to work with your organization which gives a direction to many budding writers like me. Sidhant Goyal, my talented writer and editor, thank you for all that you have done. Thank you for believing in my work, thinking that I can do better with every passing article, and correcting me at every step. Utkarsh Sharma, my supervisor, thank you for being a great friend and guide. Saniya Puri, I’d like to thank you being a great friend, critic and a constant source of inspiration. Thank you for believing in me, and appreciating me. I feel like I have a new family - the wonderful Study India Team!

Today, I see myself as an enhanced, polished writer who still has miles to go; for learning never ceases! So this is Esha Agarwal, signing off with great memories, a big bag of lessons and a promise to be back with a bang!
